Inbound Team Lead/VA Fulfillment

Job Description:A Team Lead is responsible for leading associates to meet productivity goals by delegating tasks, ensuring consistent workflow, communicating procedures and policies, training new employees, and assisting Supervisors and Managers as needed.

A Day in the Life

  • Actively participate with Supervisor in daily labor allocation through process/decisions
  • Train team members on processes, procedures and functions within department
  • Coach team members in performance of duties and provided performance feedback on a regular basis
  • Monitor workflow during shift and assign additional duties in supervisor’s absence
  • Assist on production line as needed
  • Assist with tracking of daily production numbers
  • Observe performance and provide coaching on areas needing improvement

Must Haves
  • Proficient ability to read, comprehend and communicate in English
  • Ability to motivate employees and foster teamwork, providing positive reinforcement
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer software including Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to train employees on processes and procedures
  • Ability to use physical effort in the handling of heavy materials, boxes or equipment  (most tasks require up to 70 lbs. lifting and standing for 8-12 hours per shift)
  • Flexible availability which can include nights, weekends, and holidays
 
Nice to Haves
  • WMS experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to promote organizational mission and values
  • Previous MHE experience
  • Ability to work as a team which includes multi-tasking, flexibility and adaptability with co-workers and schedules
