Supervisor - FLF Operations

At HSN’s Fontana Fulfillment Center, we ship 2.2 million packages and sell over 4 million units annually, primarily working with health & beauty and hard good items.  The Supervision position supports the Fulfillment Center by achieving facility goals related to measurable objectives, as well as meeting productivity targets based on budget, safety, associate morale, overall quality and outstanding customer service. 
A Day in the Life of the Fulfillment Supervisor:

Provide supervision, guidance, technical support, coaching and training to Outbound team.

Plan, organize and control activities of team and communicate clear expectations regarding department and individual goals.  Observe team performance and provide coaching where required.  Identify barriers to performance and assist manager in identifying/analyzing root cause and effect and develop action plans to resolve.  Ensure daily production targets are met for team by focusing on resource planning and developing contingency business plans based on company sales performance. Complete performance reviews, disciplinary action and counseling of individuals on team. Conduct daily interaction with team leaders and staff to provide feedback on performance, progress towards goals, safety topics, operational results and business updates and seek input from staff on methods to impact efficiency, accuracy and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 years Fulfillment/Distribution experience in a leadership role.
  • Ability to inspire teamwork and create an environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Ability to actively listen; speak and write professionally, clearly and concisely with individuals at all levels.
  • Superior follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Previous experience in an engineered standards environment.
  • Ability to action on priorities and utilize personnel and available resources; ability to keep work flowing as changes arise; ability to stay positive and on task.
  • Proven problem solving, decision making and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively train, coach and provide performance feedback.
  • Experience dealing with conflict resolution.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
    Preferred Requirements:
  • BA/BS or equivalent
